Happy Color Garden
Information accessed, collected, and shared
Happy Color Garden works entirely on your device. It does not require an account, collect or transmit personal information to the developer, or share your information with third parties. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting services, or external service integrations.
Any artwork, progress, or preferences saved by the app remain in local app storage for use by the app. The developer cannot access this data.
Storage, security, and deletion
Local app data is protected by Android’s app storage and your device’s security settings. Keep your device secure and its operating system up to date. No method of storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Data remains on your device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. To delete local data, open Android Settings, select Happy Color Garden, then Storage and Clear storage. Menu names vary by device. Clearing storage permanently resets the app’s local data.
There is no developer-operated account or server database to delete. If your device or operating system backs up app data, manage those backups separately through your device or backup provider. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily remove backup copies.
Children’s privacy
The app does not collect personal information from users, including children. If you contact support about a child’s use of the app, please avoid sending the child’s name, images, or other personal information.
Google Play
Google Play and Android may process information independently when you download, update, or back up apps. Their processing is governed by Google’s privacy policy and your Google account and device settings.
Website hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, United States. When you visit, technical request data such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time is processed to deliver the website, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.
Hosting data is processed for delivery, troubleshooting, and security, and retained only for those purposes or applicable legal obligations. Hosting may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Netlify’s data processing agreement provides contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. See Netlify’s privacy statement and data processing agreement.
Browser storage and external links
The website saves your light or dark appearance preference in your browser’s local storage under the key “theme”. You can remove this preference by clearing this website’s browser data. The website code does not include advertising or analytics trackers.
External links take you to services with their own privacy policies. Their content is not embedded on this website.
When you contact us
If you email support, your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send are processed to answer your request. Email providers process messages to deliver and store that correspondence. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where needed to handle a contractual request, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the legitimate interest in answering other inquiries. Correspondence is kept while needed to resolve and follow up on your request, then deleted unless a legal retention obligation or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims requires further retention. You can request deletion by emailing apps@benjaminmock.de.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, contact apps@benjaminmock.de. You do not need to create an account. You may also complain to the data protection supervisory authority in Brandenburg, Germany: Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg.
Changes to this policy
Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated accordingly.
